Fengqing occupies mountainous northern Lincang and includes varied elevations, villages and garden types. The county name is still broad, but it is a more meaningful coordinate for Dianhong than the province name alone.
Why this origin matters
Fengqing shows how the same broad Yunnan large-leaf resources can enter a fully oxidized black-tea system rather than raw Pu'er. Leaf grade and manufacturing choices create styles from fine golden buds to fuller everyday leaf tea.

Read Dianhong labels for county, cultivar or population, picking grade, harvest season and factory. 'Golden' appearance describes leaf grade and processing, not a complete quality guarantee.

Compare a bud-heavy Fengqing Dianhong with a leafier lot using equal grams and water. Observe sweetness, body and extraction speed rather than ranking by gold color.
Identification and caution
Avoid health or rarity claims based only on old-tree language. Black-tea cleanliness, residue testing and repeatable batch quality matter more.
