Identity and origin
Yingde black tea is a Guangdong red-tea tradition ranging from bold daily leaf tea to refined whole-leaf styles.
Craft and leaf style
Local cultivars and selected materials are withered, rolled, oxidized and dried; cut or broken formats may also serve strong-cup applications.
Aroma, taste and texture
Malt, cocoa, ripe fruit, sugarcane and floral warmth can appear with a substantial body.
Practical guidance
Use 3g per 250ml at 90-95°C for 2-4 minutes depending on leaf size.
Identification and caution
Match leaf grade to use. Broken leaf is not automatically poor when the goal is a fast, strong extraction.
