Identity and origin
Jin Jun Mei is a modern fine-bud black-tea style originating in the Wuyishan context. Its high market value has led to broad imitation and loose use of the name.
Craft and leaf style
Small spring buds require careful withering, rolling, oxidation and drying to build sweetness without harshness or flat baked aroma.
Aroma, taste and texture
Honey, sweet potato, flower, ripe fruit and cocoa may appear in a fine, smooth liquor.
Practical guidance
Use 3g per 250ml at 85-95°C for 2 minutes, or brew gently in a gaiwan.
Identification and caution
Do not accept gold color or bud shape as proof. Verify production area, maker, harvest and price realism.
